Tree trimming
Trees here grow fast when they get water, and pines and ash can outgrow a yard quickly. Regular trimming keeps limbs off the house and lets the wind move through the canopy instead of pushing against it.
We trim to keep the tree healthy, not just shorter. Topping a tree usually causes more problems than it solves, so we don't do it.
Tree removal
Sometimes a tree is dead, leaning toward the house, or lifting the block wall with its roots. When it has to come out, we take it down piece by piece from the bucket so nothing drops where it shouldn't.

Palm trimming and removal
Fan palms are everywhere in Las Vegas, and they hold on to dead fronds for years. That dry skirt is a fire risk and a favorite spot for rats and pigeons. A yearly trim keeps palms clean and safe.
Stump grinding
A leftover stump trips people, sprouts again, and gets in the way of new landscaping. We grind it below the surface with a tracked grinder that fits through most side gates.
